《OOBE》
What happens after the soul leaves the body? The realm of the unknown is the subject of OOBE, a work that combines XR media, contemporary dance, and sound art. The audience is invited to have an OOBE –”out of body experience” – as they become fully immersed in a space employing digitally created visuals and the Ambisonics surround sound format. In the performance, three universes – represented by three artists of three different fields – collide to create an out of body experience. The hybrid virtual reality/real world project is a collaborative effort by new media artist HSIEH Wen-yee, body movement artist ZHAO Ting-ting, and sound artist and composer HUANG Chi-yen.
